After the successful launch of the Slovenian Innovation Community for a Sustainable Blue Economy last year, we are continuing our mission to accelerate innovation cooperation among blue economy stakeholders. Join us on Thursday, 11 May at Technology Park Ljubljana for the event “Blueware Slovenia: Accelerating Innovation Collaboration for a Sustainable Blue Economy in Slovenia.”

The Blue Economy encompasses all industries and sectors related to oceans, seas, and coasts, whether their activities are conducted at sea or on land. Blue innovation plays a crucial role in ensuring the sustainable utilization of the sea, providing numerous business opportunities in traditional maritime sectors, as well as emerging sectors of the blue economy. Furthermore, blue innovations are instrumental in both sustainably maintaining and progressively restoring the quality of the marine environment.

During this event, we will:

  • Present the results of the mapping of technological and innovation potential in the Slovenian blue economy, along with the technological and market trends that will shape the future of the blue economy.
  • Showcase innovative technological solutions and projects within the focus areas of the Slovenian blue economy.
  • Define the necessary steps and collaborative actions required to develop and achieve a global breakthrough for the Blue Economy in Slovenia.

This event is aimed at companies, research organizations, policymakers and regulators, support and innovation organizations, knowledge transfer organizations, and the general public interested in promoting a sustainable blue economy.

Blueware Slovenia is powered by BLUEAIR, an Interreg Adrion project dedicated to enhancing the blue economy sectors in the Adriatic and Ionian Region through a joint knowledge-based approach to innovation strategies.
