BLUEAIR project was presented on 6th Annual Forum of the EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region (EUSAIR) under the slogan “Along the coasts of the shared sea”.
The two-day event was held online, due to the COVID-19 restrictions. On the first day the Lead project partner – AREA Science Park, presented the project, its main activities, and objectives to the more than 500 participants during the online panel: “PILLAR I BLUE GROWTH SESSION”, while on the second day during the INTERREG V-B ADRION special: „ADRION as a driver for the innovation ecosystem of the Adriatic-Ionian area. The importance of S3 for the enlargement process and best practices funded by the Program“, the project partner from the Croatian Chamber of Economy explained how EU projects, with the cases of OISAIR and BLUEAIR are tackling and working with Smart Specialisation strategy.
The 6th Forum of the EU Strategy for the Adriatic and Ionian Region that was held on May 11th and 12th, was organized by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Commission with the support of the EUSAIR Facility Point. The forum was the closing event of the Slovenian Presidency of the EUSAIR Strategy which Slovenia took over in June 2020 and will close at the end of May 2021. The main topic tackled by the Slovenian Presidency was Green Connectivity, aiming to improve the quality of life along the coasts of the shared sea and becoming a transversal component of all four EUSAIR pillars.
